Healthcare Excellence

We surround our residents with care and life.

Westminster Canterbury Richmond’s health professionals take special care to keep residents involved in life, not just surrounded by care. Healthcare here encompasses attention to all aspects of an individual’s life, including emotional, intellectual and spiritual well-being. That’s why you find healthcare residents at the Sara Belle November Theater enjoying the Richmond Ballet, spending time with loved ones, singing, gardening, creating a special memento for a grandchild or even enjoying a game of pool.

The Mary Morton Parsons Health Center offers 24/7 access to RNs, LPNs and Certified Nursing Assistants. Our residents receive attentive and loving care. Because our team is constantly reviewing each resident’s condition, they notice early warning signs and needs. Residents return as quickly as possible to active living when recovering from surgery or health challenges.

The Mary Morton Parsons Health Center emphasizes our overall customer service model, The Westminster Canterbury Way (TWCW), and new employees receive a great deal of dedicated training about TWCW when they start. We keep the training going with additional courses for all employees every year. CELTICS is the acronym for the values we hold dear and it stands for Caring, Ethics, Leadership, Teamwork, Innovation, Commitment and Stewardship.

Our healthcare mission extends not just to those with the financial means to fully pay their way but also to a great number whose resources are limited and who receive financial assistance through our Fellowship Program. If you would like information on how you can support seniors-in-need in our community, please contact Gayle Haglund at 804-264-6702.
