A message from our Board Chair: Westminster Canterbury Richmond and COVID-19
Dear Westminster Canterbury Richmond family,
As the Commonwealth of Virginia, our nation and world deal with the spread of COVID-19, I am continually impressed with the response of Westminster Canterbury’s leadership. We are blessed with experienced, talented, dedicated professionals doing all they can to fulfill our vision of improving the lives of those we serve every day. In the face of our current environment and incredible challenges, our team has stepped up to the plate.
Westminster Canterbury’s extensive infection control policies, procedures and plans have guided us in the response to COVID-19. As soon as the risk reached our region, our team applied an overabundance of caution to limit any outside visitors from entering the campus and screen everyone who enters our gates. We continue to follow the latest guidelines from the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS), Centers for Disease Control (CDC) and Virginia Department of Health (VDH). We are doing everything possible to keep our residents safe and healthy.
On behalf of the Corporate Board, I want to reaffirm our confidence in the work our team is doing. We encourage you to stay safe, wash your hands and connect with your loved ones via phone and other means while we all strive to prevent the spread.
