Our Westminster Canterbury Richmond Wellness and Recreation teams offer a wide variety of activities to help residents stay active. Recently we captured one of these great activities in a video. This exercise activity is facilitated by Wilmer De Vera, ACSM Certified Personal Trainer and his wife, J. Tracy De Vera, Certified Therapeutic Recreation Therapist. Residents are shown simple exercises to help them stay active and mobile. “These exercises are effective for seniors; focusing on range of motion, muscular endurance and flexibility.
