Year-End Giving Countdown! Your gifts ensure the best life possible for seniors in Richmond

During this special time of year, many of us like to reflect on our blessings and the many opportunities to give back to our community. Inspiring generosity makes a huge difference in the United States, and Westminster Canterbury Richmond is no different.

Westminster Canterbury Foundation’s founding mission emphasized our Fellowship Program which helps provide life care – guaranteed access to long-term assisted living or healthcare if needed – as well as necessities such as housing, food and medical expenses for seniors-in-need.

Through this program, Westminster Canterbury is able to impact two of the greatest documented needs of seniors in our region – housing and healthcare. This year, 113 people have been helped through Fellowship. Since 1975, more than 540 people have received charitable aid totaling $70 million and every resident is assured that no one will ever be asked to leave due to an inability to pay through no fault of their own.

Generous gifts also support areas of excellence including healthcare, memory therapies and spiritual support, chaplaincy programs and internships, wellness and fitness programs, enhancements and scholarships for the Child Development Center, workforce development, and thriving creative programs that include studio and performing arts. Innovation and leadership in senior services are made possible by your gifts to the Foundation every year.

If you are inspired to support Westminster Canterbury Foundation, please consider a gift to the Fellowship Program or the area of greatest need. There are many ways to do so – cash, check, appreciated stock, credit card, charitable IRA rollover and more.

Your inspiring generosity is the key to our longstanding commitment to compassion and excellence for all residents regardless of health or financial status. You make the biggest difference in the lives of our residents, family members, employees, children in our Child Development Center and more.
