Fall Craft Fair – JOIN US!
It’s back! Our Fall Craft Fair, a tradition since 1976, has returned and you’re invited!
FRIDAY, NOVEMBER 8, and SATURDAY, NOVEMBER 9, our campus will be open to shoppers from 10 a.m. – 3 p.m.
48 years ago, the first Residents Bizarre was hosted at Westminster Canterbury Richmond. During the special two-day event, shoppers from the outside community came from far and wide to purchase collectibles, resident made items and herds of white elephant pieces to support the Fellowship Program.
The annual event has grown. This year more than 40 local artisans and craft vendors will be on-site with handmade items perfect to meet your holiday shopping needs – and to treat the treasure hunter within! There will be pottery, wooden boxes, jewelry, stained glass, loom-woven pieces, holiday decorations, delicious treats, vintage furniture, wreaths, decor and lots more. This is your opportunity to do some shopping and some good.
Your purchases will help support Westminster Canterbury Foundation’s Fellowship Program. The Fellowship Program provides housing, meals, medical care and life-enriching programming for approximately 90 of our residents each year. These are seniors whose financial need has come about through no fault of their own. And, the Fellowship Program allows us to make a lifetime promise to all our residents – no one will ever be asked to leave their home here due to an inability to pay arising from circumstances beyond their control.
