Second Case of COVID-19 at Westminster Canterbury Richmond

The following message was sent to all residents at Westminster Canterbury Richmond from John Burns, President and CEO, this afternoon:

Unfortunately, Westminster Canterbury Richmond has a second positive COVID-19 case in one of our residents. This came to our attention this afternoon. We ask that you help us as we work to determine who the resident may have come into contact with.

Everyone who lives in the Tower should go into mandatory quarantine beginning now, which means you do not leave your apartment for any reason. We anticipate that this may be temporary for many of you, as soon as we trace this resident’s interactions.

Everyone who lives in other parts of the campus should stay very close to your apartment for now.

We continue to approach this situation with an abundance of caution. Please do everything you can to keep yourself safe and healthy.

In the coming hours, we will be able to learn much more. We will have a 10 a.m. Saturday briefing on TV970 to share more with you. Please tune in to hear the latest updates.
